Inside your boxes you may find...
Why Finance-y?
Short Answer: We’ve done the work.
We surveyed hundreds of parents and consulted experts across finance, education, and child psychology to build a tailored, effective learning experience
-
Parents want in.
Every box is designed for shared moments: you ask the questions, they share their ideas. Because as a parent, we belong in the conversation, not on the sidelines.
-
Right lessons, right time.
No hand-holding for older kids. No confusing concepts for younger ones. Just activities that fit their age and reflect their world.
-
Learn by doing.
Each box is packed with hands-on activities – because kids remember what they touch, build, and play.
Let customers speak for us
from 6 reviewsLove the workbook activities!! My som was so excited he finished within the morning! He is excited for his next box!!
The content was very engaging for our 7 year old. He especially liked understanding the coins and the one dollar bill. I think he also had a big "ah ha" moment as it relates to things that we want and things that we need - both of which cost money. That was then a natural lead into the next topic of why parents work. The card came and the seek and finds were also big hits.
Finance-y is hands down one of the most thoughtful and well executed subscription boxes I have seen for kids. From the moment it arrived, I was impressed. The packaging is beautiful and intentional, colorful without being overwhelming, and it immediately felt like something special that my kids were excited to open.
The design is smart and engaging, but what really stands out is the content. Teaching financial literacy to kids ages 6 to 9 is not easy. It requires creativity, clarity, and a deep understanding of how kids learn. Finance -y nails that balance. The lessons are approachable and fun without ever feeling watered down. It is challenging enough to stretch their thinking, but not so hard that they lose interest or feel frustrated.
My kids were genuinely engaged. They asked questions, they wanted to keep going, and they actually retained what they were learning. As a parent, that is everything. It sparked conversations in our home about saving, spending, and making thoughtful choices with money in a way that felt natural and age appropriate.
You can tell this was created with so much care and intention. Every detail feels purposeful, from the visuals to the activities to the way the concepts build on each other. It is educational without feeling like homework, and fun without losing depth.
I am so proud of the vision behind Finance-y and the impact it is going to have on so many families. If you have kids in this age range, this is an absolute must. It is empowering, engaging, and honestly just brilliant.
We recently received our first box from finance-y, and it was such a great experience for our family! From the moment we opened it, the excitement was real. The activities were interactive, engaging, and thoughtfully designed to keep our kids involved while learning important financial concepts in a fun way.
Our kids absolutely loved it and are already asking when the next box will arrive. It’s rare to find something that’s both educational and genuinely exciting for them — finance-y nailed it. We can’t wait for the next one!
My son loves Finance-y! He comes home from school asking to do it after a full day because it is fun learning! Couldn’t recommend more!!
My 8 year old daughter loved it and is already eager for her next box to arrive!

How many boxes are available right now?
Finance-y is in the early stages of rolling out the full suite of products. We have launched with
the start of the 6-8 year old age bracket boxes, and will be consistently releasing more. Soon
you will be able to sign-up for an alert when the age bracket you are interested in becomes
available. We appreciate your patience and support as we grow!
Do parents have to be involved?
Yes! And that is key to the success of the Finance-y experience. Finance-y is built to be a parent-child interaction in the younger age brackets, becoming a more independent experience at the older age brackets. 99% of parents we surveyed told us they want to interact with their child as they learn about money and finance. In addition, research shows that parents talking about money with their kids when they are young contributes to their financial literacy in the future.
I don’t know much about money. How can I be the one to help my child?
Perfect! You’re in the right place. You don't need to be a finance expert. You just need to be curious with your child. The box includes everything you need: clear guides, simple explanations, and real examples you can both understand. Think of it this way: you're not teaching a class, you're learning together. And honestly? That's way more powerful.
What happens after I purchase a box?
We will ship your box to the address provided within 7-10 business days of your order date. We will share tracking information once it has shipped for you to track estimated delivery timing.
Can I give Finance-y as a gift?
Of course! When you checkout, just check the box that acknowledges the shipping and billing addresses are different. You can then input a different shipping address from your billing address. Don’t forget to also check the box indicating it is a gift so that you can add a note!
How much time does each box take?
As much or as little as you want. Some families dive in for an hour on a Saturday morning. Others spread activities across a few weeks. There's no 'right way' to do it. Go at your child's pace. That's the whole point!
